The research program of the WerzLab ranges from the development of synthetic methodology to questions of bioorganic and materials chemistry. A key part is always the synthesis and analysis of novel compounds.

We are looking for new Bachelor, Master and PhD students with a passion for organic chemistry. In addition, if you are interested in getting a paid HiWi-Job (for supporting preparative work of PhD students and postdocs), feel free to ask. There is a good chance to get publications. In the case you want to perform organic research labs in your Master studies in foreign countries, feel free to ask. Foreign doctoral students should apply for a DAAD scholarship or, if they are from China, for a scholarship through the Chinese Council Fellowship Program. Sufficient lead time must be allowed for the application process. Postdoctoral researchers can only be accepted if external funding has been secured.
